Evo began as a property brokerage start up founded in 2015 by three Capetonians 25 years of age and under. In the beginning we were catching trains and public transport to knock on doors and secure listings, within 5 years we surpassed the start up phase, evolving a solid rental book, great reputation and portfolio in the shared accommodation sector and successfully breaking into residential developments.
The past few years have given us an appreciation for the hard work, setbacks and challenges faced by young entrepreneurs in South Africa. This has provoked us to make 2021 about sharing our journey and shining the spotlight onto others who have walked the path of business ownership at a young age.
It is our aim to show other local youngsters, who have aspirations of doing it for themselves, that there are still amazing opportunities here at home despite currently facing even greater challenges due to the current pandemic and the legacy it will leave behind .
